Мумий Тролль is a Soviet and Russian rock band from Vladivostok, founded on October 16, 1983. Its permanent leader and ideologist is Илья Лагутенко . The band gained widespread recognition for its unique style of Russian rock. In 2001, Мумий Тролль represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest, where they finished 12th.
