David Fonseca is a Portuguese musician, singer-songwriter, and photographer, born June 14, 1973. He began his career as a member of the band Silence 4 , which achieved significant success in Portugal. Since 2003, David Fonseca has pursued a solo career, releasing several albums for which he created the cover graphic designs himself. From 2004 to 2006, he also participated in the tribute project Humanos . His music combines elements of pop, alternative rock, and foreign rock influences. David Fonseca has made a significant contribution to the development of contemporary Portuguese music, remaining one of the country's most recognizable artists.
