
Daniel Lavoie is a Canadian singer, songwriter, composer, pianist, actor, poet, and radio host, born March 17, 1949. Working in pop and pop music, he gained widespread recognition for his song "Ils s'aiment" which became one of the most popular French-language compositions of its time. Daniel Lavoie also played a significant role in the musical "Notre-Dame de Paris" where he performed the role of Archdeacon Claude Frollo.
