‘ne Hose an der Hand mit keinem Kind drin
Doch wächst der Mensch, wie es so treffend heißt
Mit der Hose, die man ihm jeweils zuweist
Sie wuchsen zusammen, und mit der Zeit
War‘n sie wie Arsch und Hose, er und sein Beinkleid
Vom ersten Kindergartengang
Bis Schultüte und Schulanfang
Dann endlich hat das Wachstum sie entzweit
So zog der kleine Bruder das Erbe an
Und trug es lange voller Stolz.
Doch irgendwann
Hat er sich mal nicht nur das Hemd
Im Reißverschluß vorn eingeklemmt
So etwas prägt sich einem Manne ein, Mann!
Die Zeit heilt alle Wunden, bloß
Sie macht auch kleine Hosenbesitzer groß
So hat er die Hose, von Ängsten gegerbt
Von Wäschen, Sonne, Sand und Pfützen ganz entfärbt
Deren Taschen einst manche Mark
Geheimnisse und Schätze barg
Schweren Herzens seiner Schwester vererbt
Und die polierte damit zum dritten Mal
Auf allen Kinderrutschen den Rutschenstahl
Ich weiß noch, wie ihr Herz drin schlug
Als ich sie drin zum Zahnarzt trug
‘s ist alles wieder gut, es war einmal!
Und jetzt ist sie auch ihr zu klein …
Von meinen drei‘n passt nun keiner mehr rein
Sie kann mir doch nicht Jacke wie Hose sein:
Steckt ein Spielzeug und ein Foto von Euch drei‘n
Als Zeichen an ein Menschenkind
Dass alle Kinder Bücher sind
Mit in die Hosen-Taschenpost hinein!
Vielleicht wird sie irgendwo auf der Welt
In einem fernen Land noch mal in Dienst gestellt
Und wenn sich darin irgendwann
Ein viertes Kind vergnügen kann
