Bisschen komisch ist das schon, wenn man sich so ueberlegt:

Ruth hat aufgehoert im Laden.
Der macht ohnehin bald dicht
Ich kann verstehen, dass sie nicht mehr mag
Jetzt ist sie schwanger und wir haben alles durchgerechnet:
Es reicht auch so fuer den Bausparvertrag
Ich habe furchtbar viel zu tun.
Von der Stadt hier seh ich nichts
Auch ins Kino komm ich kaum
Dafuer kriegen wir, wo doch jetzt das Kind kommt
Endlich wieder einen Weihnachtsbaum
Wir bau’n selbst Gemuese an.
Ruth kocht fettarm, ich bin fit
Frueher hab ich auch viel mehr geraucht
Ich soll Zuversicht verkaufen, so versteh ich meinen Job
Doch die wissen, dass man sie nicht braucht
Und wie geht’s dir so?
Immer noch der alte zornige junge Mann?
