Promoe is a Swedish rapper and singer born on April 28, 1976. He is a member of the hip-hop group Looptroop Rockers , formed in Västerås, Sweden, in 1992. In 2009, Promoe released his fourth solo album, Kråksången , and later that year, the mixtape Bondfångeri . His work often touches on themes of graffiti, which he has done in the past. Promoe is also known for his vegan lifestyle and adherence to a straight-edge philosophy, which is reflected in his lyrics. He has made significant contributions to the development of Swedish hip-hop and reggae.
