Status(original) |
(translation) |
Like everyone else, I started like everyone else with some childhood friends |
Wrote a little rap in a basement, right down under Magnus' parents |
While the rest I know slowly found other projects |
I was the only one who continued to push it a little longer |
First time I was in studio and was admitted (Yeah) |
Was through a friend who lived on Korsgade (5-Dob) |
At a production school in the suburbs of Copenhagen |
The way he helped me with it at the time was completely exaggerated (Shot out) |
When I was 17, me and CAB started a group |
And around there I started to battle a bit |
I freestyled momentarily, suddenly it became popular |
For me, it was just a small element during a good concert |
CAB will 'do soloting, so I have to' well us' get started |
And that was where "A Child Of Ages" suddenly emerged |
We'll publish it ourselves without knowing where to go |
It helped a lot I won MC’s Fight Night the week before |
So we got it out in a lot of stores |
A few reviewers swine, but won a few awards (Yeah) |
Played a hundred shows where we rolled around like anarchists |
Mostly because we should only have 1200, plus a box of lagers |
And even though there was a raid in our tent camp |
We still saw Roskilde 06 as a huge victory |
Around the country with CAB and Lukas and bellowing beers |
For suddenly our name was at the top of your party flyer |
I've a status picture if you imagined we came to work asleep |
Because it gives' status in the game to have something on the CV |
Believe me when I say we have boned |
A Child Of Times went well, plus I took a little more |
Wins for competitions so the labels got good ideas |
We were so used to being seen as Black Money |
That their wide smile made it really hard to focus |
We had contract on the table, bubble water in the auditorium |
Until the company chose to fuck big on the deal |
When a year of work was killed by their stupidity |
Luckily, Runforcover Records came to the rescue |
Still dirty with Crateraider as turf holder |
MB, JakeOne, L.O.C., it was pretty big for me |
Something in me just missed making records with my friends |
So me and Adam Sampler got started on Jungle Law afterwards |
It came out in 2010, Loppen held a packed party |
And then we went out on a double tour with Kasper Spez |
First time in Pumpehuset, it's fun to think about it |
Right there, it was clear that CD sales were declining |
So we started Sharp Shots, free MP3 files |
The first was with Face and it was a long time before Caliber |
Made his first hook on one of my songs, totally laughing |
His voice later sku 'lig' on giant platinum singles |
I knew Noize from the radio and wanted to ask for a long time |
If he wants to 'listen to some sketches I recorded before |
Maybe 'he will give' a beat, but Kim he thought bigger |
And will 'make an album, I thought OK, it probably best to do |
I've a status picture if you imagined we came to work asleep |
Because it gives' status in the game to have something on the CV |
Believe me when I say we have boned |
Over Ash Clouds 1 and 2 came out in 12 and 13 |
When people think grime was the only thing that could 'hold' in court |
No great success, but we then came up on the chart |
And when they saw us live, they knew we had the whole fucking package |
For the concerts, a notch got better |
And Thomas Lassen did they saw us in many places |
Every winter Cold front, and every summer a whole plate |
We Heart Alberta on Bremen or Stengade |
The building block was sick and I was really relieved |
When the day came where we could actually fill the Arena tent |
Bed nails behind the rug |
If not 'Suspect not' lent us gear we would have really killed the budget |
In the tour bus south on. |
on the way to a new show |
We joked about making a record that was an audiobook |
Gin & Cocio was written in three months on Krausesvej |
To everyone who ran around and did the same as me |
Writing so much alone was dope experience |
But in a way an explanation of why Sparring became a revelation |
I would write with those I think rapper crap |
But many of those sessions were canceled at the last minute |
Then I sat there alone in my study sofa |
And you can choose to drink with booze and cola |
But instead of stepping in and nurturing my abuse |
I started making a new record, the one you're hearing right now |
