Мы — актеры большого,

И пропал.
А способность играть
Обусловлена, в сущности,
Личным талантом.
Но не скажет никто,
Что за пьеса
И скоро ль наступит финал.
Знать хотя бы на миг,
Сколько актов
И сколько меж ними антрактов,
И чем кончится все,
И какая в финале
Прибудет мораль,
И чтоб кто-то сказал:
«Ваша роль
Исполняется так-то и так-то».
Но не скажет никто.
А уставших актеров
Так искренне жаль.
