Dumm gelaufen, da hab ich wieder mal Pech gehabt,
vielleicht bin ich auch einfach unbegabt,
man nennt mich den gesellschaftlichen Overkill.
Ein Elefant im Porzellanladen ist nicht so schlimm wie der Totalschaden,
den ich hinterlasse, wenn ich zu 'ner Klasse-Frau nur höflich sein will.
Ein and’res Mal war ich bei meiner neuen Flamme zu Haus',
da kam 'ne Dame rein, die sah wie ihre Großmutter aus.
Und weil das höflich ist und nett und charmant, küß' ich galant ihre Hand.
Ich fragte, ob ich ihr wohl mal ein Kompliment machen kann:
«Ihre achtzig Jahre sieht man Ihnen wirklich nicht an!»
Später hörte ich dann — was für ein Mist!
— das sie erst sechzig ist!
Dumm gelaufen, da hab ich wieder mal Pech gehabt,
«Glück im Spiel — Pech im Benehmen»: Wär' was dran an diesem Motto,
Dann hätt' ich jeden Samstag einen Volltreffer im Lotto!
Neulich hatt' ich 'ne Brünette auf dem Beifahrersitz.
Ich erzählte ihr den neuesten Blondinenwitz.
Doch damit hab' ich auch bei ihr nix geerbt:
Die Haare war’n nur gefärbt!
Jetzt bin ich immer noch allein.
Ich such' 'ne Frau, und zwar 'ne Nette,
die nix versteht von Höflichkeit und nix von Etikette.
Als Frau für's Leben suche ich
einen Trampel wie mich!
Dumm gelaufen, aber dann wird alles schöner sein:
Immer zu zweit in jeden Fettnapf rein,

Ich könnt' mich endlich ganz normal geben,
so wie ich bin — das ist zwar voll daneben,
