So was wie sie nennt man wohl eine «Cineastin»,
schleppt mich in Filme, in denen ich nie zu Gast bin.
Auswendig kennt sie rund dreihundert Filmzitate.
Sie liebt die Sprüche Marlon Brandos in «Der Pate».
Was ihr an «Titanic"am besten gefällt,
ist der blöde Satz: «Ich bin der König der Welt!»
Sie liebt den Spruch: «E.T.
nach Haus' telefonieren»…
was da so toll dran ist, werd' ich wohl nie kapieren.
Es gibt sicher viele schöne Filmzitate
doch nur eins auf das ich immer warte:
«Hier fliegt gleich alles in die Luft!»
«Hier fliegt gleich alles in die Luft!»
«Hier fliegt gleich alles in die Luft…»
Dieser wunderschöne Satz ist endlich mal ein klares Wort:
Das «Hier"beschreibt zunächst mal völlig zweifelsfrei den Ort.
Das «fliegt"benennt den Vorgang, «in die Luft"erklärt die Richtung.
Das sind die Exponenten sachlich-hochmoderner Dichtung.
Das «gleich"ist die unaufgeregt-gekonnte Zeitangabe,
die dennoch offenlässt, wieviel Sekunden ich noch habe,
bis der Klang der Explosion mir wohlig in die Ohren zieht.
«Alles"heißt, dass wirklich alles fliegt, was man grad sieht.
Und darum ist, wenn man das Kino wirklich liebt,
dieser Satz das allerschönste, das es gibt:
«Hier fliegt gleich alles in die Luft»…
Wenn man mit Filmen Erfolg hat, in denen dieser Satz
alle fünf Minuten fällt, dann hat man seinen Platz
an der Sonne gebucht, damit verschafft man sich Gehör.
Dann wird man irgendwann in Kalifornien Gouverneur.
Der Weg zum Weißen Haus ist dann auch nicht mehr so weit —
das ist dann, je nach dem, nur eine Frage der Zeit.
Und das ist dann der Job, mit dem man als echter Mann
seinen Lieblingssatz ganz easy in die Tat umsetzen kann:

I'll probably never get what's so great about it.
There are certainly many beautiful film quotes
But only one thing I'm always waiting for:
«Everything is about to blow up here!»
«Everything is about to blow up here!»
"Everything is about to blow up here..."
This beautiful sentence is finally a clear word:
The "here" first of all describes the place without any doubt.
The "flies" designates the process, "in the air" explains the direction.
These are the exponents of factual, highly modern poetry.
The "same" is the unexcited, skilful indication of the time,
which still leaves open how many seconds I still have,
until the sound of the explosion fills my ears with comfort.
“Everything” means that everything you see at the moment really flies.
And that's why, if you really love cinema,
this sentence is the most beautiful thing there is:
«Everything is about to blow up here»...
If you have success with films in which this sentence
falls every five minutes, then you have your seat
booked in the sun, so you make yourself heard.
Then at some point you become governor in California.
The way to the White House isn't that far either...
it is then, depending on the case, only a matter of time.
