Auch seine Liebste kommt herbei
Sie ist gefolgt dem Falkenschrei
Doch tief im Moor im Abendrot
Ist der edle Held längst tot
Und wieder liegt ein treuer Mann im Moor
Ein Held der Alles ohne Grund verlor
Ein neues Grab für einen alten Krieg
Für die Lügenmär von Ruhm und Heldensieg
Für die kurze Wut von einem Edelmann
Der hoch im Schloss einst nach Rache sann
