Und statt skrupellosem Kapitalismus Gemeinwohlökonomie
Ein Land, das seine Ärmsten nicht noch zusätzlich sanktioniert
Und das mit dem bedingungslosen Grundeinkommen zumindest einmal ausprobiert
Dann herrschte nämlich von vornherein viel mehr Gerechtigkeit
Und für das, was wirklich wichtig ist, bliebe viel mehr Zeit
Ich wünsche mir ein Land, wo man sich gegenseitig unterstützt
Wo man Mensch und Tier und Umwelt und Minderheiten schützt
Denn im Land, in dem ich leben will, gehört jeder Mensch dazu
Egal, ob L oder G oder B oder T oder I oder Q
Wo weder Hautfarbe noch Herkunft über einen bestimmt
Sondern einzig und allein, wie man sich benimmt
Ob man die Werte dieses Landes anerkennen kann oder ob man
Mit Frieden, Freiheit und Humanismus nicht sonderlich viel anfangen kann
Ich hätt‘ ja nichts dagegen, will ich an dieser Stelle mal betonen
Wenn all die Intoleranten und Rückwärtsgewandten irgendwo anders wohnen
Das Land, in dem ich leben will, wird regiert von einer Zunft
Die sich von Besonnenheit leiten läßt, von Anstand und Vernunft
Menschen, die den Rechtsstaat und die Gewaltenteilung respektieren
Die sich nicht zum Alleinherrscher aufspielen und per Dekret regieren
Weder sind es chauvinistische, narzisstische Idioten
Noch verlogene, rassistische Diktatoren und Despoten
Die jeden, der nicht ihrer Meinung ist, zum «Terroristen» deklarieren
Ihn schikanieren, inhaftieren, foltern und liquidieren
Das Land, in dem ich leben will, ist vor so etwas gefeit
Denn es herrscht dort eine unabhängige Gerichtsbarkeit
Mit Richtern, die sich gegen Korruption und Willkür positionieren
Und wo nicht dafür plädiert wird, die Todesstrafe wieder einzuführen
Und Grundlage der Rechtsprechung ist ein vernünftiges Gesetz
Und kein altes Buch, das Gewalt propagiert und gegen «Ungläubige» hetzt
Ich wünsche mir ein Land, wo man die Menschenrechte anerkennt
Und dabei Staat und Kirche voneinander trennt
Im Land, in dem ich leben will, ist egal, was du bist
Ob Buddhist, Moslem, Jude, Christ oder Atheist
Weil sich selbstverständlich alle gegenseitig respektieren
Und keiner versucht den anderen zu missionieren
Religion ist dort kein Vorwand für Unterdrückung und auch
Nicht für die Legitimierung schlimmster Verbrechen wie etwa Kindesmissbrauch
Gewalt gegen Andersgläubige, Andersdenkende, Minderheiten und Frauen
Grad gegen solche, die sich gegen das Unrecht aufzubegehren trauen
Im Land, in dem ich leben will, sind Frauen gleichgestellt
Das heißt für gleiche Arbeit kriegen sie das gleiche Geld
Man behandelt sie grundsätzlich mit gebührendem Respekt
Sie werden weder genital verstümmelt noch degradiert zum Sexobjekt
Und niemand schreibt ihnen vor, was sie tun und lassen sollen
Sie entscheiden selbst, wie sie sich kleiden und wen sie heiraten wollen

Im Land, in dem ich leben will, wird in Bildung investiert
Kinder werden individuell gefördert und mit Wissen ausstaffiert

Sondern in die Lage versetzt dieses Land klug und weise mitzugestalten
Dann fallen sie auch nicht vermeintlich einfachen Lösungen anheim
Und gehen weder den religiösen Rattenfängern noch Populisten auf den Leim
Weil sie sich eigenständiges Denken und kritisches Nachfragen erlauben
Je mehr die Menschen wissen, desto weniger müssen sie glauben
Das Land, in dem ich leben will, hat aus der Geschichte gelernt
Und ist keins, das sich von Mitgefühl und Menschlichkeit entfernt
Wo Holocaust und Klimawandel nicht geleugnet werden
Und nicht diejenigen in der Mehrheit sind, die dieses Land gefährden
Nein, in diesem Land ist man einander zugewandt
Statt Hass und Gewalt regier‘n hier Herz und Verstand
Ein friedliches Land, das nicht hintenrum zuhauf
An andere Länder Waffen verkauft
Ein Land, das tolerant ist aber gleichzeitig auch ganz
Klare Kante zeigt gegen jede Form von Intoleranz
Das bei Unrecht laut wird und bei Nationalstolz still

It's all about how you behave
Whether one can recognize the values ​​of this country or whether one
Can't do much with peace, freedom and humanism
I wouldn't mind, I want to emphasize at this point
