And they carried out seven buckets of blood,
And put before their eyes,
And the buckets were full with the edges flush,
And that blood was the color of the night.
And they poured the dark into bowls,
And they began to drink greedily,
And they said to them: “This is the blood of your children,
Whose bodies lie cold."
And they did not hear the word,
And they filled their bellies a lot,
And each drank more than the other,
And it became dry in the buckets on the bottoms.
And they demanded more for themselves,
And they screamed with all their depths,
And no one stood mourning
And no one breathed grief.
And they threw a pile of bones under their feet,
And they began to chew on cartilage,
And they crawled out from everywhere,
And they began to measure their cities by squares.
And they gnawed the bones white,
And the white ones took their hands in weakness,
And they beat each other, that there is anger,
And they turned the living into the dead.
And the peas of human heads pounded,
And a stream of boiling blood roared,
And everyone mutilated everyone,
And grief for everyone has come to the threshold.
And the darkness blossomed into a faceless flower,
And there was no sun, no moon, no stars,
And many went secretly,
And many were looking for a bridge to heaven.
And it became stuffy in the sky-high cities,
And the earth was desolate with people,
And everything became dust
And what did not become dust was burned.
And the world became empty
And it was like this for seven days and one night,
And all the words flew from the mouth,
And all living things were taken away.
And it was the eighth day,
And the sky opened its eyes
And behind the first sun tear
There was a second moon tear.
And those who survived turned their faces
And the rain washed away dirt and ashes from them,
And He dipped his right hand into those waters,
And none of them recognized Him, no one noticed. |
