| Mary McGuire and Big Frank Clark
| Got drunk again last night
| I was waiting for my bus when they happened along
| Man, it was a beautiful sight
| Mary was laughing
| Singing a tune
| Acting like a teenage kid
| She kept shouting to Frank:
| «Honey I don’t care»
| I don’t think she did
| Frank was grinning from ear to ear
| Two six packs under his arm
| Late last night he was a happy man
| Nobody could do him no harm
| The two of 'em stumbled across South Main
| On the Baptist Church steps they sat
| Friendly frosties was poppin'
| Empty canes was droppin'
| Then Mary she snatched Frank’s hat
| Frank grabbed Mary by the ponytail
| He poured beer down the front of her dress
| He kissed her on the mouth
| He threw her on the ground
| He just loves her that way, I guess
| He picked her up
| He wiped her off
| She giggled and she gave him her hand
| The two of 'em staggered off into the night
| Like the king and the queen of the land
| Mary McGuire and Big Frank Clark
| Got drunk again last night

| I was waiting for my bus when they happened along
