Жили-были медведь и лиса.
У медведя в избе на чердаке была припасена кадушка меда.
Узнала про это лиса, и очень захотелось ей до меда добраться.

Пришла к медведевой избе, стала на пороге и просится:
- Медведюшка!
Изба у меня старая, крыша прохудилась,

Как ребёночка-то как назвали?
- Сверхукадушечком.
- Ааа, хорошее имечко.
На другую ночь медведь да лиса снова легли спать.
Только медведь заснул,
а лиса опять тук-тук-тук хвостом.
Медведь спрашивает:

меня зовут ему имя выбирать.
- Так сходи, если зовут.
А лисе только этого и надо.
Она прямиком на чердак и до половины
мёд в кадушке поела.
Наелась, воротилась и легла медведю под бок.
Медведь заворочался, спрашивает:
- Лиса, а лиса, как ребёночка-то назвали?
- Половиночком.
- Это имечко ещё лучше.
На третью ночь медведь да лиса снова легли спать, и опять,
только медведь заснул, а лиса тук-тук-тук хвостом.
Медведь спрашивает:
- Слышь, лиса, и опять стучится кто-то.
- И опять за мной пришли.
В соседней деревне ребёночек родился,
меня зовут ему имя выбирать.
- Так сходи, если зовут.
Только быстрей возвращайся, я блины хочу печь.
- Я скоро обернусь.
А сама на чердак и доела кадушку с мёдом.
Всё выскребла.
Воротилась,
а медведь спрашивает:
- Лиса, а лиса, как ребёночка-то назвали?
- Поскрёбышком.
- Это имечко лучше всех.
Ну, а теперь пора вставать блины печь.
Напёк медведь блинов и полез на чердак за мёдом, а мёду-то в кадушке и нет.
Медведь разозлился, говорит лисе:
- Это ты, лиса, мёд съела, больше некому.
- Нет, медведь, я твой мёд в глаза не видывала, и где он у тебя лежит, не ведовала.
Да ты, верно, сам его съел, а на меня говоришь.
А медведь ей не верит.
