Como é que os versos assim aparecem
Disse-me só, eu cá não sei
São coisas que me acontecem
Sei que nos versos que fiz
Vivem motivos dos mais diversos
E também sei que sendo feliz
Não saberia fazer os versos

Não penses que a poesia
É só a caligrafia num perfeito alinhamento
As rimas são, assim como o coração
Em que cada pulsação nos recorda sofrimento
E nos meus versos pode não haver medida
Mas o que há sempre, são coisas da própria vida
Fiz versos como faz dia
A luz do sol sempre ao nascer
Eu fiz os versos porque os fazia
Sem me lembrar dos fazer
Como a expressão e os jeitos
Que para cantar se vão dando à voz
Todos os versos andam já feitos
De brincadeira dentro de nós
