Это история о том, как трое братьев
Очнулись связанными в тёмном подземелье
"Куда же мы попали? Вот проклятье!"

Их ожидало то ещё веселье!
Братья обсуждали, как оказаться на свободе,
Не заметив старика, что в углу лежал в лохмотьях
Старший прошептал: "Ну что ж, я нас вытащу отсюда -
Я припрятал в сапоге свой нож!"
Вдруг в углу раздался хрип... "Славно, братцы, говорите" -
Молвил им седой старик - "Вы меня с собой берите!
Я сижу здесь много лет, в замке каждый угол знаю,
Я отнюдь не их съестной обед!
Вот что скажу я тебе, милый друг:
Завтра ты будешь сидеть уже без рук
Они съедают добычу по частям,
Может быть, даже дадут чего-нибудь и нам!"
Только наступила ночь, братья, отперев оковы,
Наутёк пустились прочь, взяв и старика седого
"Так веди же нас скорей, укажи путь на свободу,
Помоги нам, старый дуралей!"
И завёл старик их в зал, тот, что полон был охраны,
Усмехнулся и сказал: "Что ж, прощаться знать пора нам!
Я сижу здесь много лет, в замке каждый угол знаю,
Я не их съестной обед, я лишь пищу охраняю!"
Вот что скажу я тебе, милый друг:
Завтра ты будешь сидеть уже без рук
Они съедают добычу по частям,
Может быть, даже дадут чего-нибудь и нам!"
Схватить братьев!
