Пришла пора весенняя,
Цветут цветы душистые,
Слетаются-сбираются
Все пташки голосистые.
Поют в полях, поют в лесах,
С куста на куст порхаючи:
Заслушалась красавица,
Про друга вспоминаючи.
Стоит, глядит задумчиво
Куда-то в даль незримую
И звонким колокольчиком
Заводит песнь любимую;
Далёко эта песенка
В родных полях разносится,
Звенит, душой согретая,
В другую душу просится.
Всё в этой песне слышится:
Любовь, глубоко скрытая,
И счастие далекое,
И горе пережитое.
Под вечер добрый молодец,
Окончив пашню черную,
Пустил коня и к девице
Пошел дорогой торною.
Никто не знал, что сделали
С красавицей девицею
Певуньи-пташки вольные
С весною-чаровницею.
А ночка, ночь весенняя
Все тайны, что проведала,
Хранить и ясну месяцу
И звездам заповедала!
