Стародавнего лета далёкий мотив.
Над рекою невесты провожают закаты,
Широченные брюки, ватных плечиков мякоть,
Полевые планшеты недавней войны —
Всё слилось в эти звуки, удивительных тактов,
Послепобедной моей страны.
Как трещали цикады, пахло липовым цветом,
Над скамейкой качалась голубая звезда.
И немела эстрада пред картавым поэтом,
Был отец мой нестарый и мать молода.
Удивительным счастьем тогда лица светились,
Удивительно ярко светила луна.
Вот тогда моя мама на всю жизнь влюбилась,
И участь отцова была решена.
Духовые оркестры так немодны сегодня,
Шумный круг танцплощадки — бульварный роман…
И Вертинского нету, патефоны негодны.
Всё разлилось в седине наших мам.
