Lloyd is an American R&B singer born on January 3, 1986, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Decatur, Georgia. He began his music career as a member of the boy band N-Toon, formed by Joyce Irby in 1996. After the group disbanded in 2001, Lloyd signed with Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records, under Def Jam Recordings, in 2003 to pursue a solo career.
