Blood & Gold |
Long ago the people of this land |
Once welcomed a necromancer man, |
Weaving sorceries black, |
he tempted them, they bowed to his will |
The people screamed with joy as hell itself split open |
Conjuring forth material greed, first he brought the weak willed to their knees. |
Thus gold and blood did mix, and though there was an uproar, |
they did not strike him down, instead held out their hands demanding more. |
He raised a single hand, beckoned them and drove them mad, |
«there is more!» |
he called them down, stole their souls and dragged them into |
hell |
Awash in gore and coins, the demons consumed empty minds, |
they did not waver in their frenzy, filled with bloodlust never-ending. |
Superficial, soulless and cold, covet in life, forever rest in hell. |
Damned by their wickedness and insatiable greed, t |
hese men and women sold their souls for blood and gold. |
Unable to curb their spending, their punishment is their flesh rending, |
boiled alive in a lake of gold, screams for mercy unheard ignored. |
The flames now lick their feet, demons craving succulent meat, |
greedily they taste their sins, branded in their skin. |
«Now follow me Into hell» |
He beckons, and throws you to your knees, the kings have judged you, |
and your sin is greed |
There is no meaning in selfish greed, take not too many, only what you need. |
Do not hoard your wealth nor spend it all care free, neither avaricious nor |
begging on your knees. |
Or spend eternity in fiery wasteland, where only demons can hear you scream. |
The Golden flames are dancing, coloured red with blood, |
May god have mercy, for the devil has none. |
