
Linton Kwesi Johnson , born in 1952, is a Jamaican-born British dub poet and activist. His work combines recitation of poetry in Jamaican dialect with dub reggae, often created in collaboration with producer Деннисом Бовеллом . In 2002, Linton Kwesi Johnson became the second living poet and the only Black author published in Penguin Modern Classics series. His works, such as "Inglan Is A Bitch" and "Sonny's Lettah" have become iconic works reflecting social and political realities. Linton Kwesi Johnson has had a significant influence on the development of dub poetry and reggae culture.
