
Hank Marvin (real name Брайан Робсон Ранкин ) is an English musician, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer, born in 1941 in the UK. He is best known as the lead guitarist for The Shadows , a band that specialized in instrumental rock music. His guitar style has had a significant influence on many rock musicians, including legends such as Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler . Famous compositions by The Shadows include "Apache" and "Wonderful Land" Hank Marvin also experimented with jazz and pop music, leaving a noticeable mark on the development of instrumental rock.
