Blaze Bayley (real name Bayley Alexander Cooke ) is a British musician and songwriter, born 29 May 1963. He is best known as the former vocalist of Iron Maiden , where he performed from 1994 to 1999, recording the albums "The X Factor" and "Virtual XI" . After leaving Iron Maiden , he launched a successful solo career, releasing several albums, including "Silicon Messiah" and "The Man Who Would Not Die" . Since 2007, he has also been the vocalist of the reunited band Wolfsbane . Blaze Bayley has made a significant contribution to the development of classic metal, remaining faithful to the genre for decades.
