Не нравился мне век, и люди в нем

Пошел на зов, — сомненья крались с тылу,
Груз тяжких дум наверх меня тянул,
А крылья плоти вниз влекли, в могилу.
В непрочный сплав меня спаяли дни —
Едва застыв, он начал расползаться.

Weeding out the ghostly answer
From this fancy question.
Hearing the call of the ancestors through the hushed rumble,
I went to the call - doubts crept from the rear,
A load of heavy thoughts pulled me up,
And the wings of the flesh dragged down into the grave.
The days soldered me into a fragile alloy -

I shed blood like everyone else - and like them,
I couldn't refuse revenge.
And my rise before death is a failure.

I do not accept decay.
But I equalized myself with murder
With the one with whom I lay down in the same land.
I am Hamlet, I despised violence,
I didn't give a damn about the Danish crown, -
But in their eyes - for the throne I tore my throat
And he killed an opponent on the throne.
