and the mistletoe
A million 'bout holiday cheer
When all I want to do, is write a song or two

But I think that one’s already been used

the presents underneath the tree

or the tree lights glow
Are there any stories left for me?
No stockings on the shelves
no Santa’s merry elves

Why are there so many songs about bells?

Not too many words rhyme with Christmas
and the ones that do don’t make sense for instance
citric, malicious, nutritious baby
vicious and discuss and fish
