Though I’m feeling blue
Alone in your bed
Waiting for you
You brush aside
All sign of emotion never denied
No clouds in your sky
No waves on your ocean
You know that I’ve tried
To play by your rules
You played the king
And I played the fool
You painted my heart
The likeness so true
So why did your pen
Have to tear it in two?
