Їх місяць гріє, ніч пливе собі повільно та неспішно.
А я дивлюсь на тих русалок, мені сумно й трохи смішно.
Дарма, що волни мертв’яки, бо мають чорні язики,
Неначе відьми на шабаші.

Все, що було, те загуло, та скілько всього проплило,
Де скілько душ русалки ті колись залоскотали.
Та цар Охрім на дні морскім собі у жони взяв русалку…
