Slade is a British rock band formed in 1966. The UK band became one of the leaders of glam rock in the early 1970s. Their most famous hits include "Cum On Feel the Noize" and "Merry Xmas Everybody" which have become classics of the genre. Slade had a significant influence on the development of hard rock and glam rock, inspiring many subsequent artists.
