T: When Stephen Hawking died, I was terribly upset.
I was at my neighbors house
and I had gone the whole day without knowing.

T: But it must have been 11 o’clock at night and I found out and then I went
back to my apartment and I sat on my floor and I cried and pulled out my guitar
and I very softly, sadly strummed it and I wrote this song

T: Mostly 'cause I didn’t wanna disturb my neighbors and they’d be annoyed with
me playing the guitar very loudly
H: and sobbing
T: *laughs* They weren’t that loud the sobs but I was very sad and I also felt
sort of doomed.
