| Splintered wood in my face
| new experiences much too fast
| the smell of wood burns within
| as the axe cleaves through her skin
| I get shivers from these thoughts
| experiences overwhelming
| stop and let me hold her
| I want to taste this wood, i want to taste her
| Traces of what once was
| Get me back on the ground
| Blood spilled on the axe
| Remember me
| So pretty full of happiness
| You shone a light and i
| I spilled blood, played a part
| I said goodbye
| I wanna fly,
| Wanna see the world from up in the sky
| But where do I go,
| Let me find a place that no one knows
| Cut myself in an open wound
| Never knew how much I would
| Experience the thrill
| Of this one thing
| I will let this tree come down
| They never lie, so help me now
| Achieving this one thing I want
| Let me flee for this daunting haunt
| Traces of what once was
| Get me back on the ground
| Blood spilled on the axe
| Remember me
| So pretty full of happiness
| You shone a light and i
| I spilled blood, played a part
| I said goodbye
| I ran away
| there’s a valley and a stream, I can stay
| to see these flowers bloom
| while I thrive to make my way
| to the top of the hill
| covered in moss, dead rocks everywhere
| It’s a perfect place to be save
| to keep in mind for when I’m ready to fly
| The eagle, hunts it’s prey
| As my life, slips away
| into darkness, into night
| There’s nothing, in my way |
