| No moment is better than nowto
| write poems: the first night of this year
| Between regrets for things we could have
| done, and good intentions we won’t realise
| The moon knows I am not joking with you and she is not jealous
| She might be feeling a bit lonely though, I know what it means
| Wish I could promise you that we’ll be still here
| When the last star is getting too tired to shine
| Still be here
| When the colours of the last sunset are fading away
| Me and you in this twilight
| I’d love to say that we will walk forever
| Climbing up the stairway of the time
| It is just a maybe but I am sure I won’t be a November leaf
| In your memories, and you in mine
| Maybe somewhere somebody is going to remember me and you
| Maybe somewhere somebody is going to tell
| the story of me and you, like a fairy tale
| And now we are here in the dawn of another year
| I don’t know if I will be able to look after you forever
| I’ll be sincere I am a bit afraid, we are just skin and breath
| So I cannot promise you that we’ll be still here
| When the last star is getting too tired to shine
| Still be here
| When the colours of the last sunset are fading away
| Me and you in this darkness
| I’d love to say that we will walk forever
| Climbing up the stairway of the time
| It is just a maybe but I am sure I won’t be a November leaf
| In your memories, and you in mine
| Maybe somewhere somebody is going to remember me and you
| Maybe somewhere somebody is going to tell
| the story of me and you, like a fairy tale
| And now we are here in the dawn of another year
| Hold my hand, let’s walk towards another year |
