Deprivation

There is an all-devouring hunger
Which distends deprivation
It is no aberrant anomaly
But endogenous and autonomic
Ordained by our very nature
Further dilated
By the ever-enclosing discord
We now see as normal
It carves a chine and settles in
To every crack, crevice, nerve and cavity
Delirious cycle continues perpetually
It shatters and bereaves
In a never-ending spiraling loop of feedback
Ravaging will only engorge starvation
An endless cramming but extends the void
