The Dragon |
There once was an old man who loved power and glory |
But in his long life he just had never won |
So he had a dream, let us call it obsession |
To stand in the middle, be admired by everyone |
He saw his one chance when rumors were spreading |
A dragon arrived in the outskirts of the town |
He thought if someone whould challenge the beast |
He would live forever even if he died by hunting it down |
He wants to fight the dragon, he wants to kill the beast |
He wants to fight the dragon, he wants to kill the beast |
And drawing his longsword with it′s edges blazing |
He rode to the lair to shed thick dragon blood |
He daydreamed that he would return home as a hero |
But his horse stumbled and he landed headlong in the mud |
As he lay there sobbing the dragon came along |
And saw the poor old man, oh, there had something to be done |
He invited the man to his cave where they drank tea |
And they became the best friends in the world of dragon and man |
