Strangers Are Just People You Don't Hate Yet |
We have lines of invisible scars |
And they glimmer with time |
They glow in the dark |
Spent half our lives making maps in dim light |
Trying to find someone’s parallel marks |
But this is not science or maths |
Sometimes lines look the same on two different graphs |
But the axis is wrong, so the numbers won’t add |
And it’s hard to accept that |
In this screen |
As we flicker we’ll list off leads |
Making business of basic needs |
Let’s set up our high |
Leaving everyone underneath |
But there’s barely two people the same |
And damage can torch lines that used to be straight |
Making patterns so complex in horrible shapes |
We just hope that they’re fading |
