Broken Youth

along time ago there was something to do
but now this towns become dead
the kids are left hanging around
trying to find something else instead
underage drinking and a lot of drug use
that’s what you get round here
walking past your local park
you can hear the drunk kid cheer
the generation of the broken youth
socially online, misunderstood
but won’t take any shit from you!
how much more can you expect from the youth
when there is no where else to go
no youth clubs or anything else
not a place to call their own
what would you do if this was you
and your youth’s gone down the drain
would you stand up and fight
or would you join the line
