I dreamed I spent my Christmas with my family
I heard the sleigh bells ringing from afar
I dreamed I helped my sisters decorate the tree
And my brother held me up to hang the star

We opened up our presents then we had the family prayer
I spent a lovely Christmas with my family even if it was a Christmas dream

Poor old papa carved the turkey and little sister cut the cake
