We are all lost souls.
What a tragedy that we have failed to see.
A poor excuse of what we strive to be.
Preaching dignity, lacking integrity.
A dying world without sympathy.
Were things so different or was I just blinded?
Sparks of hostility ignite into violence.
We live our lives with a price on our heads.
Humanity hanging on by a thread.
Eye for an eye spills the blood that we shed.
We’re drowning slowly in the end.
Only hate seems to translate.
All we want is deliverance.
But are shackled by our ignorance.
Convinced of our innocence.
Influenced by the charlatans.
Why are we willing to live our whole lives with closed eyes?
We’ve learned to just let go.
