| Do you feel like you’re never alone?
| Does a ghost seem to follow you home
| and do you wash away your regrets
| and do you punish yourself for the «whys"and «what ifs»
| all the time when you can’t change a thing about it?
| Your presence is killing me
| Is it just another alibi
| to fill the spaces which were meant to be
| for those times that I need you the most?
| I contemplate and I lay here endlessly
| still looking for some clues in the dark
| just to stave off my reality
| I can’t help feeling your ghost
| I wonder if this is as good as it gets
| and pondering when and if closure begins
| We pay our respects and expect to move on
| but some things in our life never come easy, if ever
| I saw the light leaving your eyes
| Your presence is killing me
| Is it just another alibi
| to fill the spaces which were meant to be
| for those times that I need you the most?
| I contemplate and I lay here endlessly
| still looking for some clues in the dark
| just to stave off my reality
| I can’t help feeling your ghost |
