You fill the ballot out and drop it in the slot to cast your vote
You hope the guy who gets elected reads the letters that you wrote
He gets in office and he promises to represent your voice
You think the system works because most people agreed with your choice
But then big players with big checkbook attend meetings with your man
They funded his campaign and now they’re wanting him to change the plan
The «special interests» of the giants get written into the bill

They started PRISM, NSA, the CIA, and FBI
They take your money from your bank account if you don’t pay their tax
