| The sun sends its scorch
| Burning rocks come tumbling, singeing our last layer
| Plates shift with haste, testing water’s knack for sweeping us away
| A funneling cloud will keep us underground
| Ice melting so thin we’re liable to drown
| All signs show it is us to blame, we’re masticating the health of our host from
| the inside out
| Something’s wrong
| We’re wondering: if all was gone, what could we attest it to?
| Oblivion caped & crippled the earth
| Parasites become of the appetites too desperate for fulfillment
| Lost is the power to harvest our worth
| This is not hands from above intent on punishing their young
| This is not where we belong if this body is never enough
| This is not reversible
| We took too much when we dug this hole
| This is not where we belong if this body was never enough
| Feeding tortured mess by design
| Hunger took the backseat to our past times
| (Sentient souls hang like trophies)
| Superior souls are stripped of empathy despite their quintessence
| Something’s wrong
| We’re wondering: if all was gone, what could we attest it to?
| Oblivion caped & crippled the earth
| Parasites become of the appetites too desperate for fulfillment
| Lost is the power to harvest our worth
| If hate spread like wildfire, the earth would be covered in
| Flames
| Symbiosis was brave but never made a bout, a contest against all that breathes
| until light burns out (I've been wondering how we got so alone)
| This is not hands from above intent on punishing their young
| This is not where we belong if this body is never enough
| This is not reversible

| We took too much when we dug this hole
