| Walls of glass and a little child
| She’s looking at the world outside
| She says; |
| mummy can we go out today
| I know it’s possible, I heard the others say
| But honey all you need is here
| It isn’t safe out there
| China dolls and paper planes
| Be good and play with them!
| Bring her home
| So she decided to go out by herself to see
| To find it wasn’t all that pretty
| She’d fall real hard to get to new highs
| They would chase her at day and comfort her at night
| She’d gaze at the roses and get thorns in her hands
| It’s all part of the plan
| Cause dolls and diamonds and an overflow
| Please leave me alone, let me go
| Bring her home
| Now follow the arrows or step out of the line
| If you don’t, they will make up your mind
| Cocoons and butterflies, me and I
| I stand up tall, I run away to hide
| And she also prefers a life on a roller coaster
| And not floating along like so many of the others
| But the last time she fell, she couldn’t get up again
| So they made sure to turn her into one of them
| Bring her home |
