| Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
| Jack Frost nipping at your nose
| Yuletide carols being sung by the choir
| And folks dressed up like Eskimos
| Everybody knows
| I’ll be home for Christmas
| You can plan on me
| Please have snow and mistletoe
| And presents under the tree
| They know that Santa’s on his way
| He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
| And every mother’s child is going to spy
| To see if reindeer really know how to fly
| Have yourself a merry little Christmas
| Let your heart be light
| From now on all troubles will be out of sight
| And have yourself a merry little
| Christmas Eve will find me
| Where the lovelight gleams
| I’ll be home for Christmas
| If only in my dreams
| Here we are as in olden days
| Happy golden days of yore
| Faithful friends who are dear to us
| Gather near to us once more
| And so I’m offering this simple phrase
| To kids from one to ninety-two
| Although it’s been said many times, many ways
| Merry Christmas
| I’ll be home for Christmas
| A merry little Christmas to you |
